Adam Wareing is a laboratory assistant in the Zebrafish Research Facility (HWU)

Adam Wareing is a current undergraduate student working towards his BSc in Marine Biology. A strong passion and interest in fish larval development has led to starting as a lab assistant within the Zebrafish facility, Herriot Watt.

Adam’s professional career started with experience in the Royal Marines, it was only after sustaining a serious knee injury that his interest in biology became apparent. Ever since he has worked closely with marine conservation groups and the Government to improve the situation on the Scottish coastline. Adam’s overall aim is to create a sustainable method of developing fish larvae for the purposes of aquaculture.
