Advisory Board

In order to maximise project quality and targeted dissemination of impact, an advisory panel has been developed to support RealRiskNano. This includes agreed participation from policy (Dr Tarquin Dorrington, Marine Programme Manager, Department of Environment, Food and Rural Affairs; and Dr Daniel Merckel, Scottish Environmental Protection Agency) a distinguished professor of toxicology and nanotoxicology (Prof. Robert Tanguay, Oregon State University, USA), and an independent academic expert in the transport of chemicals via waterborne particulates (Prof. Bart Koelmans, Wageningen University, NL).  Two project advisory panel meetings will be convened, the first will be used to gain detailed input on experimental protocols in order to maximise the impact of project outcomes, (at HWU, month 10) and a second meeting to gain detailed input on the interpretation and contextualisation of project outcomes in order to ensure accessibility of the impact giving broad reach for the deliverables (Month 40, UoP).  In addition, a workshop will immediately follow both Advisory Panel Meetings. The workshops will include a wider range of invited stakeholders (outreach) and will be used as appropriate to gather wider perspective on the project / outcomes and maximise the breadth of pathways used for targeted dissemination.
