Cristina Del Rio Cubilledo completed her MSc research project Review of harbour seal (phoca vitulina) and grey seal (halichoerus grypus) status in Scotland:possible explanations for population shifts and declines at HWU in the School of Life Sciences.  She is now a Visiting Scholar in the EPAQ Laboratory investigating changes in bioavailability of toxicants during sorption reactions with engineered nanomaterials in the aqueous phase.  Her work also addresses the effects of toxicants during dietary exposures in adult fishes and in particular effects on gut microbiota.
