Addressing the challenges of gender disparity within Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths and Medicine (STEMM) is a topic of interest within the EPAQ research group. Among the channels by which we address these challenges include investigations of the occurrence of gender disparity that exist within our discipline (Environmental science). Our investigations include documenting changes in gender disparity in authorship of scientific publications. Every year our group encourages and receives visiting scholars from secondary schools in Scotland from under-represented groups.
